It has always been a fun exercise of mine to change how my mind works. I believe everything in life is a choice. I have the goal in life to be more positive and focus on what I want out of life rather than focus on the negative. It’s incredible to realise how powerful the mind and how a small change of thought can lead to big changes in life.
Most people will go through a bad situation and dwell on the negative experience – and in doing so, they only find and see more negativity. Very few people go through a bad situation and think about the learning that has come from that negative incident or how worse off things could have been. In my experience, the people who put things into perspective and make a negative into a positive seem to have a much better outlook or focus on life. And I do not mean just financial but in relationships, business, health, and wellbeing.
I have found that it is really up to you to decide how you feel and shape where you want to go in life. You have to consciously train your brain to think positively and be grateful for the things you have. It will be a challenge to retrain your brain, but I can guarantee you that it’s worth it, based on my experience. Remember it takes at least 30 days to create a new habit!
One of the rules of the universe states “Like attracts like” – so shape your own world by thinking, talking, dreaming and acting positively. There is so much out there for the taking – Set some goals and get set to achieve them!
